Hola!
Welcome to Going Ninety Miles ~ An American girl lost on the gorgeous island of Mallorca.
I’m a Wisconsin born, Oklahoma raised southern girl who moved around a bit after college – Dallas, Connecticut, New York City, Germany. And now, Mallorca based.
Traveler, photographer, artist, southern girl with a hippie- beach lovin’ heart are some pretty good words to describe me.
Since my first post in 2009 I have strived to be a source of inspiration. Going Ninety Miles is a little bit of everything: travel, personal style and life, daily musings and so much more.

Hi Kim, I stumbled across your site whilst looking for something else and must say I find your writing style quite amusing. Although I was not born in the States I lived nearly all of my adult life there. I now too live in Mallorca and perhaps we could meet sometime if it suits you.
Looking forward to hearing from you
Andrea
Hi Andrea! So nice of you to stumble upon my blog. I would love to meet up with you in Mallorca. Send me a message on my email mallekk8@gmail.com. Cheers!
Hi American girl, great blog! We are a swedish/american couple and we are also lost in Mallorca. We will at least be on the island until the end of 2011. It would be great to meet you and more americans in this paradise…

Hi. Love your blog! My blog is called: lostinmallorca.blogg.no. I wright in Norwegian though. Googeling my own blog, was how I fond yours.
😀
Hi Kim – that header pic is taken in La Rapita at the jumping board by the boat ramp….I know that cause I lived there 🙂 Although I am not American by citizenship, I have lived there for a long time – now live here in Mallorca and know quite a few Americans. If you like, let’s get together. Mail me at susannedickmann@mac.com – Greetings from Calvia – and another Libran (10/17). Happy New Year!
Ahhhh, I wish I had some sliver of hope like a duel citizen… but alas no. I am trying to get a residence but it is a VERY difficult process. Good luck to both of us with that!
Hi Kim! I just stumbled across your blog when I decided to see if there were any americans in Mallorca. My husband, young daughter will be staying on the island for the entire month of April and I am so excited to start reading your blog. Can’t wait to see your recommendations for restaurants and daytrips. We’ll be staying close to colonia sant jordi. Thanks for creating this great blog. -Jane
Hi Jane and family! Welcome to Mallorca! If you are staying close to Colonia S Jordi you should definitely take a day trip to the island of Cabrera! The boat leaves from the port in Colonia S Jordi and it has several different options to take. Enjoy!
Thanks for advice. Looking forward to our trip and will take your advice and go to Cabrera. Thanks. 🙂
I am loving the daily posts! xoxo
